Mechanical Engineer

MECHANICAL ENGINEER HILLSBORO, OR 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Currently we re looking for 4 candidates: 2 with Pro Engineer Surfacing experience, preferably 5+ years experience, and 2 additional with 3-6 years experience with Pro Engineer and GD&T

Mechanical Design Engineers will design, and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems. Responsibilities include development of system concepts, conducting design reviews, performing system acceptance, and resolving design and implementation issues. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Solid Creo/ProE skills required including surfacing and creating drawings using GD&T
- Must have good understanding of system mechanical design and associated manufacturing and assembly processes
- Must understand and be able to apply mechanical engineering and design principles including DFM, tolerancing, structural and thermal requirements
- Must be able to take engineering requirements and translate into solid system and subsystem designs and design features in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
- Must be able to comprehend and incorporate adjacent disciplines' requirements into mechanical concepts and detailed designs
- Good written and verbal communication skills required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent required
