Mechanical Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanical Engineer will research, innovate, design, and develop Mechanical solutions at the component and platform level.
- Mechanical Engineer will design and develop complex mechanical assemblies and platform chassis.
- Make prototypes through hands-on fabrication and will be in charge of supplier management.
- Make proposal drawings from sketches, wiring or schematic drawings.
- Conduct first article inspection, mechanical assembly and tolerance analysis.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- Three (3) plus years of experience in a professional ME role.
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD program.
- Ability to conduct first article inspection, mechanical assembly, and tolerance analysis.
