Mechanical Design - Pro/E - 3 Months - Kent

A client based in Kent is looking for a mechanical design engineer with Pro/E experience. This will be a contract until the end of February.

Role:

- We are seeking an individual very experienced in developing mechanical solutions using Pro Engineer and AutoCAD.
- The individual will be expected to research, design and draught components and assemblies for Mechanical products and design from initial design though manufacture and delivery.
- Carrying out 3D modelling & 2D design work whilst maintaining/updating and modifying existing designs/diagrams (including comprehensive documentation).

Skills:

- 5 years experience in the Mechanical Design environment.
- 3 years experience in designing with Pro Engineer Wildfire 4.0./PDMLink
- 2 years experience of using AutoCAD (2011/12).
- Excellent hands on practical skills and excellent understanding/sense of aesthetics, ergonomics.
- Must be familiar with a wide range of materials and manufacturing systems.
