Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Job Type: Permanent Location:London Salary: Circa £35K Skills: Mechanical Design Engineering, 3D CAD, Special Purpose Machinery A very exciting opportunity for a motivated, driven and highly enthusiastic individual who has the ability to take designs through the full lifecycle with a meticulous nature and keen eye for detail. The Mechanical Design Engineer should have experience with the following: - ONC/HNC Mechanical, Mechanical & Production or Electro Mechanical Engineering - 5+ years of Mechanical Design for Special Purpose Machinery or Mechanical small Handling Machinery - Mechanical assembly and component detail design and drawings, electrical panel layouts, machine layouts, BOM construction and technical manual drawings Your typical responsibilities and duties will include: * 2D drawing and 3D modelling of mechanical components, assemblies and installations * Generating BOMs and liaising with clients and suppliers - playing a crucial role in application, on going design and development of an interesting and diverse product range. * Preparing detailed component drawings If this role is of interest or you know anyone who would be, please contact Ehsan Khan, Specialist Machine Design Recruiter at Huxley Associates, all updated CVs must be .doc files.
