£rate to be negotiable & 2/3 month contract

We need to find a great contract Mechanical Design Engineer who has strong experience with Solidworks 2D & 3D to join a renewable energy company & will transfer prototype drawings from paper to solidworks, focussed mainly on a bespoke prototype design that is now operational. You'll also ideally understand electrical matters.

You'll be using Solidworks as the primary CAD package & have a good mix of mechanical design skills & electrical appreciation.

You'll take complete ownership of the project, working closely with the directors & other design engineer, but using your own initiative.

Role paying a negotiable rate, based in Southampton, Hampshire, commutable from locations such as Waterlooville, Portsmouth, Fareham, Hedge End, Chichester, Hamble, Southampton, Petersfield. Please forward your CV to
