Mechanical Design Engineer Job

Yoh Solutions have secured a new contract position with an Engineering consultancy that has won a new project with one of the leading automotive manufacturers in the UK. They are providing their client with bespoke engineering solutions for the layout and installation of new machinery and equipment for their plant. Due to this new project they require a Mechanical Design Engineer or Draughtsman to support with their other projects.

Role;

To support various projects varying from;

- Designing new conveyors
- Changing existing drawings 3D to meet client specifications
- Creating 2D Manufacturing drawings from 3D models
- Layout drawings for Manufacturing facilities

Skills Required;

- Skilled user of Solidworks or Inventor
- Strong Mechanical Background
- Experience designing Machines, Conveyors, Plants layouts is preferred

This contract position offers a diverse range of work that requires a Mechanical Design Engineer to have a flexible approach to their work and be able to work independently as well as part of a small team of Engineers.
