My client urgently requires a Mechanical Design Engineer with Solidworks or Solid Edge experience for a 6 month contract based in Cornwall. More specifically, you will be involved in the design of mechanical components for heavy machinery and lifting equipment. It would also be beneficial if you are experienced using FEA and working with hand calculations. This is a role that will allow you to develop your design capabilities in an Oil & Gas environment and you will essentially be managing your own business by taking concept designs right through to manufacture.

*Rate - £25-35p/h
*Location - Cornwall
