Mechanical Design Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a client of mine based inSurrey. Salary paying up to £40,000 for the right individual + benefits.

My client is as a research and development organization that was formed in the 1990's within a major global organization. Since then my client have developed a groundbreaking technological improvement - passive UHF RFID tags that provide near perfect accuracy in harsh environments. Due to the overwhelming success of this the organization has now been launched as a stand-alone company.

This role is for an enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn. You will be working in a small team of 3 engineers reporting to the Lead Mechanical engineer. With operations based in theUKbut alsoChinaand theUSthere will be some travel so you must be flexible.

To be successful for this role you should have experience with:

- Solid works preferable but open to other 3D CAD packages such as Pro-E, Catia and Inventor
- DFM (Design for manufacture)
- Plastic Injection mould

It would also be desirable if you have experience with:

- Electronic enclosures
- CNC Machines
- Military design involved with plastics
- MIL-STD-810
