Mechanical Design Engineer

I am currently working with a medium sized Downhole Artificial Lift company in Bridge of Don who are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer for the next step of their product development. From 2009 my client have been involved in developing a revolutionary Downhole product that, after a recent successful field trial (not only did the product get down the trial well without a hitch, it worked and ran perfectly and demonstrated WHY my client is in demand in both the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico), is going to the next stage of production and commercialisation. The company itself has been backed by several major players in the Industry and recently extra funding has been received for them to begin production of their equipment from this summer. The product that the company have worked on since inception is quicker and more efficient than competitor products on the market, making it a much more desirable option for Operators to include in their equipment Downhole. I am therefore looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who has around 5 years experience in the Downhole Industry with New Product Development to join this up and coming, exciting company and share in their Success now and in the years to come. Typical daily activities of the Mechanical Design Engineer will include: - Cradle to Grave development of products and projects - New Product Development for the Downhole Pump and Artificial Lift sector - Mentoring Junior Engineers - Project Management - Hands on Engineering The salary on offer will be dependent on the experience of each candidate who applies, but the banding roughly will be £40,000 - £60,000.
