Mechanical Design Engineer

MECHANICAL ENGINEER contract opportunity in Milwaukee, WI. Projected 2 year assignment. Need experience with electronic packaging design. May include living expense stipend.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for assigned electronic packaging design, analysis, test and commercialization
- Work as part of system and electronic design team to create project packaging specifications and implement through entire development cycle

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree Mechanical Engineering or academic equivalent
- Minimum 7 years mechanical design experience including experience in electronic packaging design (injection molded parts & small metal stampings, printed circuit board assemblies & interconnects, thermal management, EMC management)
- Proficiency in using ProEngineer Wildfire for part and assembly design, drawings, and documentation
- Familiarity with (a) injection molding process and tool design issues and (b) rapid prototyping tools and processes
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
