Mechanical Construction Supervisor

NRL Opportunity; Mechanical Construction Supervisor- Grangemouth.
Our client currently has a requirement for a Mechanical Construction Supervisor to be based at Grangemouth on a contract basis, to ensure the construction activities on designated projects are completed in accordance with the client's SHE, quality, programme, standards, targets and UK legislation, and to act as the client's eyes and ears on site, monitoring and reporting performance and proactively resolving any issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Craft or Technician qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ/SVQ L2 or 3 or TEC/SQA national award
* An experienced Construction Supervisor with previous site experience.
* Extensive knowledge of construction legislation, practices, standards and techniques.
* Must be self motivated and able to effectively interface with and influence the Asset, Project and Contractor personnel.
* Brownfield construction experience mandatory.
* IOSH Managing Safely Course
* CDM Regulations Awareness
* NEBOSH Health & Safety Certificate desirable
