Mechanical Building Services Design engineer, Hampshire, Contract

My client is looking for an experienced mechanical building services design engineer to help manage a design team and get involved with the designing for a range of building services upgrade projects. You will need to be chartered and have at least 10 years of design experience with a consultancy or contractor and be proficient with HEVACOMP and Revit.

They are also looking for an intermediate mechanical designer to work alongside them who will also need 3+ years of building services design experience using HEVACOMP.

The main bulk of the work will be around boiler system upgrades, plumbing upgrades and HVAC upgrades within public buildings, schools, council houses, libraries and hospitals. You will need to have experience of working on such projects but also up to date design experience as this is a hands on role and not a project management role.

The ideal candidate will have:

-HEVACOMP extensive experience
-10 years of mechanical design experience
-Chartered or the equivalent
-Some Revit MEP experience
-The ability to guide and train less experienced design engineers
