MCOMMERCE TECHNICAL EXPERT (NFC/SIM/ETSI/EMVCO)

KEY SKILLS - MCOMMERCE TECHNICAL EXPERT (NFC/SIM/ETSI/EMVCO)

To act as the focal point for all technical aspects related to the design, development and delivery of mCommerce products, services, technical specifications and industry white papers, in particular ensuring alignment of technical working groups with business requirements and helping to steer business decisions when technical feasibility is essential to the decision.

The mCommerce scope covers enabling services such as NFC, mobile payments (local and remote), coupons/loyalty, ticketing, access control, mobile identity and credential management, etc. for applications in finance, retail, transport, health and more. These services will range from single trial implementations through to large scale, globally interoperable, service architectures. The client are especially interested in mCommerce services that are secured using the UICC (SIM) as the secure element, although we are also aware of other solutions including Embedded and MicroSD.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Input to the specification of technical solutions and TestFinancial organisations, Transport networks, Mobile Operators, SIM/Smartcard vendors, mobile handset vendors and POS terminal vendors
- Strong demonstrable experience in a wide range of NFC technology areas including knowledge of: EMV NFC payment solutions (card or otherwise), transport standards such as ITSO, Mi-Fare, Calypso, Oyster, etc
- Demonstrable experience with relevant specifications and standards organisations - including ETSI, EMVCo, Global Platform, Java and potentially 3GPP
- Experience of working with international organisations, customers and partners on at least two countries/continents.
- Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder manager.
- Engineering degree and/or similar technical experience in the development of NFC based, or other relevant mobile products and services.
