MATERIAL PLANNER SUPPORT needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Neenah, WI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Coordinates the scheduling of production and the availability of finished product to support business plans.
- Ensure the coordinated development of tactical plant machine schedules.
- Manage inventory mix to achieve customer service objectives.
- Coordinate the execution of project conversion schedules and rollout plans for new product Introductions and product improvements.
- Manage finished stock availability to support product plans with minimum obsolescence.
- Provide a logistics perspective on short term business issues involving capacity and customer service.
- Provide a broad range of support for engineering teams in the ordering, tracking and shipping of materials, equipment and services for capital and expense projects.
- The person must maintain strong interpersonal relationships with employees and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Create simple and complex shopping carts
- Manage and track material orders throughout the Procurement cycle and communicate to key customers
- Provide detailed documentation to support shipping/export paperwork for equipment
- Adherence to Procurement and Engineering standards and procedures
- Perform duties in the field if applicable
- Participate in key project execution meetings and teleconferences for engineering projects
- Schedule and lead project meetings as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Working knowledge of Procurement system practices and procedures
- Previous experience supporting a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Associate's degree in a technical area or equivalent experience (5 years) in an advanced enterprise system like Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)/SAP
- Strong knowledge of purchased equipment/parts or experience with SRM Shopping Carts
- Proficient in computer programs such as SRM, SAP, Access, Adobe, HTML
- Expert Skills in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to act independently, organize workload, set priorities, work well under deadline pressure, adapt to change and handle confidential material
- Ability to exercise independent problem solving and decision making
