Material Handler - Night Shift

Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a MATERIAL HANDLER - NIGHT SHIFT to join our client in Seattle, WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Material Handler is responsible for supporting the stockroom and performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of GMP and non-GMP materials.
- Material Handler will also ensure that the warehouse is operating under strict GMP guidelines.
- Material Handler will be responsible for delivery and transfer of GMP materials to manufacturing areas.
- Anticipate, communicate and resolve internal and external issues that could affect the warehouse optimization.
- Material Handler will ensure that supplies are received according to open purchase orders or alternate verification methods as appropriate.
- Performing cycle counts and restock according to procedures, identifying operational issues and process improvement opportunities to management, propose solutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma required or equivalent.
- Minimum six (6) years related experience, including driving a company truck.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to follow guidelines of the Standard Operating Procedures for each operation in the process to conform to the Good Manufacturing Practice and the Food and Drug Administration Regulations.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including but not limited to forklift and pallet jack.
- Specialization in Stockroom activities including Kitting is required.
