Material Control Handler Job

MATERIAL CONTROL HANDLER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Greensboro, NC.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Inspects inbound material to verify item description, quantity and conformance standards.
- Unpacks/packs wide variety of aircraft product/material for put-away to stock and/or delivery.
- Performs consistently all systematic transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) related to R&D, Production and external warehouse operations correctly.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid government issued driver's license with no restrictions
- Forklift experience or ability to be forklift certified
- Ability to operate a standard vehicle to support parts movement operations.
- Ability to be forklift certified.
- Knowledgeable in aerospace parts.
- Ability to input, analyze, and understand computer based WMS system transactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes).
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Ability to use a hand scanner, barcode labeling and scale system effectively.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Six Sigma, PDCA or Kaizen experience strongly preferred.
- Warehouse/Distribution Center experience preferred.
- Parts handling and inventory control experience preferred.
- Hazardous material handling and shipping experience preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Export Compliance/International Shipping experience preferred.
