Master Data Management Lead - Vendor & Banking Domain

A leading international telecoms business based in Amsterdam, seeks a vendor data specialist, to lead a master data management initiative to improve banking processes, and more specifically, enhance Group wide control of operational cash-flow.

The assignment is expected to last a minimum of six to 12 months. However, the employing company will soon begin a wider transformation of master data across its corporate and affiliate operations and the successful candidate could expect further extensions and the opportunity to work on other international MDM projects.

The role will be responsible for designing and implementing new data management and governance principles for vendor and banking information. This will include coordinating data cleansing; creating naming conventions; master data stewardship; as well as automate and drive efficiency in data execution.

This is a very hands on role, in which the successful candidate will be the subject matter expert. In addition to providing strategic direction; they will also be responsible for managing the process of change; communicating and gaining user acceptance of change; as well as liaise, coordinate and manage stakeholder and third-party relations.
