MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Wayne, PA!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for the overall defining and delivering of IT technical solutions in the enterprise Risk domain, with a focus on Customer Master and Credit Risk.
- Take a leadership role and leverage a strong financial industry business knowledge background to elicit, analyze and rationalize business requirements for the global and then transition these into a functional design.
- Currently our client has a custom application that will either be enhanced or replaced to meet the growing needs around a Customer Master application. The objective of the Customer Master is to create a single source of Customer data that will be accessible by business users and other systems. Areas of coverage include business, data, and functional requirements; data cleansing; matching to 3rd party reference sets; and information delivery requirements.
- The role requires close partnership with the business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and project teams.
- Responsible for defining and implementing enterprise wide solutions related to Customer Master, Credit Risk Data, along with Basel Compliance functionality.
- Leading the definition of scope, requirements, and system boundaries for the Customer Master solution. Identify what functions will be performed by the new/modified Customer Master system and which functions other systems will perform. Define what data should be contained in the Customer Master solution and document the metadata information associated to customer data.
- Represent business users and champion their needs when discussing potential implementation solutions including business process re-engineering.
- Developing system integration plans that will create a centralized customer data repository.
- Provide input to standards, guidelines and processes to consistently address recurring enterprise master data issues such as data governance, data convergence, master data definition, metadata acquisition, data standards and data integration/synchronization.
- Ensure that business requirements and architectural requirements are fully met.
- Analysis, design and implementation of solutions for all of the applications with in the domain. This includes user interface design, mapping documents, process flows, and business rule documentation.
- Applying today's methods and technologies to create efficient and reusable solutions.
- Functional testing and system integration testing of the Risk application changes and solutions.
- Estimating and planning integration effort and impact on projects and small business improvements (changes), as well as providing input into the resource management process.
- Evaluating and improving processes and architecture in the domain

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- The skill set required includes RUP (Rational Unified Process), Business process skills, Financial Services and Customer Master background preferred, and an acute ability to document designs.
- At least five (5) years of relevant working experience in the area of application solution design
- Experience in identifying business requirements for enterprise-wide customer based master reference data and seeing those requirements to final implementation, including writing use cases, state diagrams, process flows capturing business rules and requirements.
- Experience in Finance, Customer Master, and Master Data Management solutions.
- Leading and mentoring a team within a project environment that is sensitive to project timelines
- Customer Master and Credit Risk project experience from a business perspective and familiarity with the principals of MDM business solution design
- Working with clients to establish data standards, including metadata definitions
- Experience in applying architectural principles as part of your solution design.
