Markit EDM Developer - Investment Management - London

Our client is a leading Investment Management business with global presence. On their behalf we are looking for a contract Markit EDM/Cadis Analyst Programmer to fill a vacancy in the Development and Integration team in IT.

The team works on a wide variety of business systems relating to activity across the whole investment management business. As part of the team the Analyst Programmer/Developer is required to develop and maintain in-house systems, write specifications and deliver financial services projects using ETL and warehouse development tools.

Skills/Experience required:

Essential:

- 4+ years experience of Cadis/Markit EDM. Including UI development.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of MS SQL server development (SQL, T-SQL, SSIS/DTS, SSRS, Database Design),
- An in-depth knowledge of Financial Markets including Equities, Bonds and Derivatives
- Exposure to Middle Office IT functions such as fund/investment accounting, performance, corporate actions, cash, forecasting, P&L, reporting etc.
- 5+ years Investment/Asset/Fund Management experience is a must.
