Markit EDM Business Analyst - Asset Management - Edinburgh

Our client, a leading asset manager, are looking for a Business Analyst with strong Markit EDM skills to work in their business systems team.

The role requires both business knowledge, engaging with stakeholders in the business and technical knowledge to be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

The role encompasses an element of data analysis, being able to understand and design the flow of data through the company, from source file, data translations, Datamodelling and storing and extracting for downstream applications. Working closely with our data teams to ensure that solutions are in line with overall data strategy.

The main toolkit that the analyst will be working with is CADIS (Markit EDM), writing technical specifications for data feeds and user interface screens.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Prior experience working in a Data Management role would be an advantage
- Cadis (Markit EDM) certified an advantage
- Experience working in an agile environment is an advantage
- Good experience working with Cadis (Markit EDM)
- Knowledge of SQL
