Marketing Visual Designer

We are looking for an exceptional VISUAL DESIGNER to join the Worldwide Marketing team for one of the MOST POPULAR MOBILE DEVICES ON THE MARKET. You will have the unique opportunity to DEVELOP PRODUCTION-READY DESIGNS that will be VIEWED BY MILLIONS OF CUSTOMERS. The Visual Designer will work with other Designers, Product Managers, Editors and Site merchandisers to create exceptional designs to support online merchandising, and online sales of devices, accessories and content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, produce and deliver graphics for display on client storefronts and associated websites
- Create beautiful photo composites in Photoshop of devices, content and lifestyle photography
- Conceptualize and present creative directions for on-site and off-site advertising and merchandising
- Create designs for multiple simultaneous campaigns while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail when managing variations and feedback from a cross-functional team
- Creatively apply brand attributes and style guides
- Manage communication and upload of final graphic assets to the client image server

REQUIREMENTS

- Online portfolio demonstrating the ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative vision (include a portfolio link at the top of your Resume when you apply)
- 3+ years of relevant professional design experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer or similar role
- Exceptional Photoshop talent for image compositing
- Ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from merchandising, marketing, product management and development
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects at one time to make aggressive deadlines
- Solid grasp of technical issues, and skill designing within technical constraints - successful candidates will masterfully design around constraints to ensure design intent is maximized
- Expert ability in Photoshop required; skill with Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML and/or CSS coding wanted
- Relentless desire for innovation balanced with business needs and customer expectations
- Unwavering attention to detail with an acute awareness that everything counts
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid written/verbal communication and collaborative skills

PREFERRED

- Non-English language skills highly desired and beneficial
- Experience in designing for E-commerce preferred
- Prototyping (HTML 5, Flash, etc.) skills preferred
