ROLE TITLE: Marketing Services Consultant

ROLE DURATION: 7 Months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

LOCATION: Birmingham, West Midlands

ROLE SALARY: £23,000 - £34,000 pro rata plus a benefits package, which includes a Staff Pension scheme, competitive bonus, 22 days holiday, life assurance, share schemes and more.

ROLE SUMMARY: To deliver the Marketing Services plan and take responsibility for successful delivery against the agreed project plan. Ensure compliant and complete delivery of pre-printed policy literature and personalised fulfilment communications, in line with the approvals process and brand guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You work with various external suppliers and internal stakeholders, to implement complex projects, update existing product literature and deliver literature for new products. As part of this process, you make sure all collateral is on brand and follows through the Approvals process in a timely manner.

You're perceived as a "go to" contact for people around the business seeking guidance and advice on fulfilment related projects. You will deputise for your line manager at management meetings and provide coaching support to others as required.

You'll use your knowledge and experience to identify and reduce risks, improve process efficiencies and reduce operational costs.

Initiation, scoping, planning, executing and closing of projects to ensure outcomes are in line with agreed objectives.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Understand and monitor supplier Service Level Agreements (internal and external).

Project manage literature review projects and fulfilment requirements as per defined management timelines.

Develop creative solutions to problems and provide support and guidance to projects

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

You must be considered an expert of:
Copywriting
Brand principles
Proof reading
Managing complex campaigns
Working within a structured approvals process
Managing multiple artwork amends and agency relationship
Managing stakeholder relationships

You must have an understanding of:
Direct Marketing
Campaign management
Advertising
Promotions
Print and production processes
CIM and/or Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent is desired but not essential.
