MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Advertising, Sales or a related field, plus at least 5 years' experience in marketing communications, product promotions, or sales support or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge in the execution of all types of marketing or sales activities
- Ability to manage Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and other projects with complex set of deliverables, approvals, due dates and production timelines.
- Proven effective leader; ability to manage projects with large work teams
- Demonstrated experience with marketing communications, product promotions, or sales project management and reporting tools and processes
- Ability to identify and resolve issues relating to meeting deadlines
- Proven ability to manage projects involving vendored sources (eg mail houses, printers)
- Meet deadlines on tight schedules and budgets in a variety of media
- Accurate forecasting of marketing expenses and ability to manage a budget
- Familiarity with print processes for development of collateral materials
- Familiarity with sales activities and processes and associated impacts to stakeholders
- Familiarity with web development and design, reporting, and content management and writing
- Familiarity with agile methodology and WebTrends a plus
- Must be team oriented able to communicate with a variety of people and vendors
- Organized with a sharp eye for detail
- Ability to broker differences and manage conflict well
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing requirements
- Excellent communications skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Successfully lead project implementation teams with accountability for budget, sales strategy and planning, production and deadlines.
- Provide reporting and other analysis documents for marketing and sales communications activities.
- Successfully manage all marketing or sales support projects through to completion.
- Participate in meetings with other marketing and sales staff to develop strategies to meet marketing and sales goals.
- Coordinate the timely production of sales materials. Manage the AEP document production processes - coordinate with Creative Services, Print Production, Medicare Operations, Membership, Sales and Inside Sales, Provider Services, Pharmacy Services and Product Manager.
- Monitor creative services, web services, and print services production and delivery, providing updates and ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate the proper dissemination of collateral and marketing materials to the designated sources; help print production establish their pick lists for packet assembly.
- Provide summary review of marketing and sales projects to key stakeholders.
- Provide marketing tactical support to the local market segment sales channel.
- Responsible for Medigap renewal letters (NOC and NORC) for all products.
- Develop and update Medigap marketing materials, including. OIC filing and approvals for all Medigap letters, documents, materials and web pages.
- Responsible for the public and member facing websites including content management, design input, troubleshooting, testing, reporting and analysis.
- Develop and distribute site reports to senior management and stakeholders.
