Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global IT client to recruit a Marketing Operations Manager. This will be initially a 6 month contract role based in London.

You will be the company's expert on the delivery of campaigns, pricing and promotions to market for the Marketing organisation
This key role will ensure that the company delivers the best quality propositions to the market, understanding business and Marketing needs. The person will need to a good mix of commercial and operational experience. Key Objective is to get propositions out on time, to spec, and in line with internal processes.
Taking the proposition brief from the Product Marketing Manager team, this person will be responsible for the end to end execution of the company's initiatives. The team will also be responsible for the management and future planning of campaigns and pricing tools, including the Campaign tool and the voucher management system.
This person will be responsible for working with all cross functional teams to ensure that the initiative is delivered in a timely and professional manner. These will include Product Management, Legal/Regulatory, Finance and Business Operations.
Close alignment will also be needed with all of the marketing channels to ensure consistent and timely messaging out to the market.
The individual will need to fully understand the Marketing objective, and be able to communicate it effectively across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Operations Managers work closely with Product Marketing Managers on a day to day basis. Taking an approved Go to Market plan, this individual needs to deliver it to the market in a timely and professional way.

Areas of responsibility include:
1) Managing the company's internal campaign and voucher tools to enable an offer. Ensure the offer is configured to spec and gain the necessary operational readiness for launch.
2) Work with cross functional teams to communicate and get approval of campaigns. To include Customer Services, Fraud/Revenue Assurance, Legal & Regulatory, Regional teams and Tax. The individual needs a complete understanding of the business need and agree solutions with other teams before launch.
3) Ensure consistency of messaging and delivery of brief across all Marketing channels including Email, Account, PR and Sales.
4) Be the final approval point for a campaign to go live.
5) Work closely with Product Management and engineering teams to spec new requirements for campaigns and pricing.
6) Take new future requirements from the business for longer term functionality needs and agree a roadmap with Product Management teams.
7) Advise business teams on feasibility of their desired proposition, and working with alternatives where necessary.
8) Help business teams prioritise and plan their initiatives based on feedback from Product Management and engineering .
9) Feedback customer experience other operational issues to business teams and recommend changes or improvements where necessary.
10) Develop a clear understanding of how the company's systems operate, advising on limitations and opportunities.

PRE-REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Expertise/Experience
* Proven background in similar role in mobile operator or Internet services company
Organised and able to run multiple projects under pressure
* Understand the importance of commercial needs and impact of how initiatives are delivered to the market
* Ability to translate commercial requirements to technical and operational teams. Identify risks to the successful delivery of propositions
* Be the 'voice of the customer'. Ensure the experience to the customer is the best in class
* Business partner/relationship management skills
* Demonstrate strong leadership in developing plans and driving Matrix or virtual teams, identifying and resolving/escalating issues, bottlenecks and barriers, and initiate change that will make for substantial improvement
* Stamina and tenacity to achieve strong bottom line results, a sense of personal ownership is required
* Cultural sensitivity and a proven ability to work with teams and partners across multiple geographies are essential
* Knowledge of pricing and promotional research a significant plus
* Product launch experience a plus

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
