Market Risk Business Analyst - Model Validation/Risk Models

For this top tier Investment Bank we are looking for a Market Risk Business Analyst with strong Risk models experience. The Risk Change team in London is looking for a Business Analyst to support front to back strategic process and systems change for the Model Risk Management global roll out. The ideal candidate will meet the defined attributes for the role and be hands-on and have strong passion and drive for change including the ability to pro-actively engage in solution design and definition.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

- Knowledge of market risk and model validation process
- User Acceptance Testing including creating test plans, defect tracking and resolution and testing changes for the new Model Risk Management workflow tool.
- Proactively identifying and documenting business requirements from Trading, Risk, Finance and other key business stakeholder groups.
- Producing functional and non-functional specifications for IT implementation of a new work flow and reporting tool for the Model Risk Management function.
- Work in partnership with IT teams to define business solutions that deliver functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ownership of functional issue resolution through the project delivery life cycle
- Take responsibility for timely resolution of Model Risk Management requirements.
- Facilitate issue resolution to ensure release schedule remains on track and functional issues are solved through appropriate solutions
- Work effectively in and leading working groups with diverse Business stakeholders and their teams to ensure requirements and priorities are successfully met.
- Defining and documenting procedures and training to support new business processes and applications.
- Previous experience in designing and implementing a workflow tool (including business analysis, UAT planning and roll-out to a large number of users)
- Understanding of systems delivery life cycles and delivery methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
