OPERATIONS MARKET RISK ANALYST TO JOIN TOP TIER INVESTMENT BANK!

My client, a top tier investment bank, are looking for a Market Operations Risk Analyst to join their team on 6 month rolling contract.

Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that Market Risk Data Management processes, infrastructure, and governance effectively support the business. The Analyst Data Support role is a tactical role that will help lead the identification, assessment, documentation, and remediation of quality issues as part of production processes. This may involve interacting with business users or risk managers to resolve data quality problems using techniques such as root cause analysis.

Additional Responsibilities may include:
* Daily monitoring of feeds/data. Perform data quality diagnostics, investigate possible data errors and re-mediate poor data for accurate daily VAR calculation
* Research new data requirements and closely work with Risk Managers and technology to identify feeds issues.
* Be able to work with technology on strategic sourcing projects and participate in User Acceptance Testing and impact analyses.
* Identify opportunities and suggest solutions to improve data quality and business processes.
* Remediation of Asia specific data quality issues
