MapR Consultant (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Install Hadoop MAPR clusters in ITS internal data center 
- Prepare automation scripts based on Ansible & Jenkins/GIT 
- Setup installed MAPR cluster inc. MAPR ecosystem, Yarn scheduler, monitoring and Integrate with other data lake components like Airflow, JupyterHub
- Support integration with new dedicated Kubernetes cluster
- Provide cluster hypercare support & troubleshooting

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- In-depth Hadoop MAPR experience
- Hadoop scheduler, Yarn, Hadoop ecosystem know-how
- Ansible automation skills
- Experience with Python for small developments
- Experience with Monitoring systems like Elastic/Kibana, Prometheus/Grafana, SpyGlass (OpenTSDB)
- Linux (RHEL preffered) and shellscript skills
- Experience with Linux RPM packaging system, Jenkins, Git (GitOps), Airflow, Jupyter Hub, Kubernetes (i.e. Rancher)
