Manufacturing Technician Job

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in NEWARK, DE.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- One to two (1 - 2) years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manufactures parts in accordance with safety, quality and production best practices and requirements.
- Monitors and operates production equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures
- Performs minor maintenance functions within the operating area and within level of expertise

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- One (1) - two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Good interpersonal, verbal and writing skills
- Ability to read and comprehend Standard Practice documents and other written instructions
- Good attendance record and demonstrated reliability

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Micrometers and Calipers or other types of measuring gauges
- Experience operating presses
