Manufacturing Project Planner

Progressive Global Energy are working in a partnership with a global oil and gas company in Aberdeen. The company have encountered a period of growth and have an exciting forecast moving forward.

They have a position available for a Manufacturing Scheduler.

Job Summary:

To monitor and manage capacoty with the designated manufacturing representatvies in order to allow timely release of work and execution of the manufacturing and assembly phases of the order fulfilment process.

The position is a generic one allowing maximum flexibility within the department. The incumbent can be responsible for performing one or all of the following activites performed within the department subject to load and activity levels;

Capacity planning

MRP Planning

Scheduling and finite planning

Assembly planning and scheduling

You will be accountable for the support of both customer needs and the manufacturing pocesses. Through its operation the position will ensure the timely scheduling and execution of the plant whilst providing manximum utlisation and adherance to customer requirements

Qualifications and education requirements;

A thorough understanding of Production Control principles coupled with an appreciation of machine capabilities and process inter dependancies.

A graduate in a technical subject or soneone with one to three years practical experience in a similar environment.

Experience with MRP11/CRP and SAP would be advantageous.

This is a full time position based in Aberdeen.
