The position is for an experienced process engineer to provide support for the manufacture of industrial abrasive products and to run projects to improve process and product capability for the manufacturing and packaging processes.
Key Job Responsibilities
*Run continuous improvement activities within the production environment.
*Pro-actively seek out opportunities to drive continuous improvement through the factory. Employ use of appropriate range of tools including Lean Six Sigma.
*Further develop product and process understanding for the manufacturing processes.
Key Skills & experience
*Experience of working in a large manufacturing operation
*Experience of running continuous improvement projects
*Experience of problem solving for manufacturing issues
*Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
