Manufacturing Engineer - Proposed Parts Transfer

An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer - Proposed Parts Transfer to work as part of a team who are developing the Turbine Components blade machining supply chain to meet potential future requirements. This will be on an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend as it is a two year project.

Job Requirements:

Possess significant relevant experience, or be qualified or aspiring to degree level in an engineering discipline or equivalent.

Knowledge, experience and understanding of complex manufacturing and preferably machining of aerospace components.

Able to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, flexibility to operate in a changing manufacturing environment, and the ability to work both individually and as a member of a multi-skilled team.

Highly developed problem solving and organizational skills.

Experience of parts transfer and knowledge of the domestic and external supply chains would be advantageous.
