Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer :

World class Defence Organisation based in Lostock, Bolton is currently looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer.

# Important - previous experience of working in the Defence / Aerospace industry is required in order to be considered for this role #

Please Note: you must be eligible for SC (Secret Level) Security Clearance.

The contract is initially for 6 months (ongoing after).

The hourly rate is £20 per hour.

Manufacturing Engineer Job Description:

• Compilation and update of Manufacturing Instructions
• Resolution of technical problems that may arise during the manufacturing process
• Route card changes as a result or rework activities
• Management of Configuration Control by the embodiment of Design Modifications into the Manufacturing Instructions
• Support to the Non Conformance Process using SAP
• Manufacturing Cell Design and validation

Experience / Skills;

• Must have a good problem solving ability

• Recognise and understand customer requirements, and respond to them

• Understand and work to Company Processes and Procedures

• Demonstrate a determination and persistence to deliver results despite obstacles and setbacks

• Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21

• Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent certificate

• 5 years experience within an engineering discipline.
