Manufacturing Associate

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE to join our client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Elkton, VA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execution of manufacturing operations in a GMP environment.
- Responsible for material movement, dispensing, process monitoring, equipment cleaning and sterilization, completion of GMP documentation.
- Monitor process performance, aiding in investigating deviations and implementing corrective actions, developing standard work, and assisting in troubleshooting.
- Support equipment qualification and process validation activities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S or B.A degree in science, life science, or engineering
- Zero to two (0-2) years of experience in a position supporting a manufacturing process
- Experience with a GMP (good manufacturing practices) manufacturing process.
- Experience in bioprocess, vaccine, or sterile manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with SAP and/or Trackwise.
- Ability to examine an issue from diverse perspectives (safety, compliance, automation, equipment, process, people) in order to best understand and aid in its resolution and have an enthusiasm for continuously learning.
- PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRED VARIOUS SHIFT WORK SCHEDULES DURING THE ASSIGNMENT DEPENDING ON PRODUCTION SCHEDULE.
