Manual Tester

In need of a contract role until June 2015 with a possibility of extension?

Are you a pure Manual IT tester?

I have a great contract role for an IT tester with an immediate start which will go on until June 2015 initially. The role falls within one of the most exciting IT teams in the Sydney market and with an organisation who are in a period of growth.

THE ROLE

- Using MS Excel to effectively test a new Financial Services web product
- Manually test this new product offering
- Full Testing of the Business Rules
- Working closely with a Business Analyst to achieve the testing targets
- Raise defect reports and manage the re-testing of defect fixes
- Assist with planning of the testing process

THE PERSON

- A career IT testing professional (minimum of 5 years testing experience)
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester
- Financial Services experience is essential
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel competency for the purpose of IT testing
- An understanding of Web Testing is an advantage
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
