Our client in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a Manager for their Threat Monitoring & Response Center. This position will drive strategic and operational direction for our clients Information Security Monitoring and Response program. As a Manager you will be responsible for 24x7 monitoring and response of all information security events and incidents across the enterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate, manage, coach, develop, and lead the team responsible for detecting, documenting, and responding to all information security events and incidents enterprise wise  
- Act as an escalation point for the team and assist with responding to Information Security Incidents 
- Coordinating with and updating the EMRT [Event Management and Response Team] as needed
- Create, measure, analyze, and present reports to management representing the state of Information Security
- Monitoring and Response for the company, and identifying where opportunities for improvement exist
- Create and present regular updates to management on team projects, progress, and metrics
- Conduct employee reviews, budget planning, interviewing, and hiring for the Information Security and Response Team          

SKILLS SUMMARY:

- Experience building out and operating a Security Operations Center or Threat Management Center
- Solid working knowledge or SIEM [Security Information and Event Management] tools such as ArcSight, LogRhythm, and RSA enVision 
- Background in security incident management and/or forensic experience in researching or collecting information to determine root cause and provide prevention recommendations 
- Experience with or managing tools such as Tripwire, Blue Coat Proxy, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, RSA SecurID, LogRhythm, FireMon, and Enterasys IDS
- Background or competency in managing system platforms such as Windows Workstation/server, Linux, and Unix platforms
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Visio)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred and 8-10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
