Manager for Operational Risk Stress Testing in the US (CCAR)

For our banking client we are currently looking for a

Risk Controller - Manager for Operational Risk Stress Testing in the US (CCAR)

Your tasks:

- lead data enhancement for operational risk related losses which is an important input for the stress testing quantification of operational risks
- work closely with the legal and litigation function to enhance key data attributes which are critical to enhance capital planning submissions in the US
- support management to establish data monitoring concepts which will be implemented globally on the collection of operational risk related loss data
- perform second-line-of-defence activities in relation to operational risk loss reconciliations with financial ledgers
- ensure risk frameworks and associated capital assessments are well designed
- drive education on root cause analysis for operational risk event related deep dives and support the first and second line of defence stakeholders to enhance event analysis

The ideal candidate shall bring:

- a university or FH degree in economics, Business, Finance, Accountancy or a Law related discipline
- ideally experience in risk management, risk control, audit or compliance
- operational risk experience is a big plus
- experience in working with large datasets and ideally familiar with the establishment of data monitoring concepts
- interested in ensuring that the bank enhanced its data quality for quantification models in a regulatory risk and capital context
- effective communication skills, both written and spoken
- fluent in English and ideally German
- analytical with excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- reliable and resilient
- committed to deliver and focused
