6 month contract position based in Chertsey paying £250 per day

The successful candidate will be fully qualified, have a practice background and is able to work really well with budget holders on budgets, forecasts, p&L's, balance sheets and variance analysis. You will also have solid experience of dealing with audits and preparing statutory accounts and a strong handle on month end processes.

This position is responsible for the management reporting and analysis of EHQ cost centres.
Is the primary point of contact, business partnering, to ensure spend is controlled within budget with regular exposure to Senior Executives.
Manage the EHQ month end close process, overseeing activities of wider finance team.
Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting both internally and externally.
Responsible for ongoing work to standardise and improve the reporting, and information quality from the team.
This role will be influential in system design and driving improved working practices.
Work closely with project teams, question existing processes and assist developing solutions.
Accommodate regular ad-hoc requests, requiring investigation and problem solving for information, and convictions to make decisions.
