MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - HOLMES CHAPEL

2 YEAR FTC

A GLOBAL HEALTHCARE LEADER are looking for a talented MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join their team on a 2 year fixed term contract basis with opportunity for a permanent position after this time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- REPORTING - provide management reporting, performance measurement and control information in relation to expense & headcount. Supporting the CAPEX process as required. Processing of month end journals, accruals and prepayments and ledger enquiries.
- FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT - Establish expense & headcount forecasts and budgets for site budget centres, preparation and review of monthly results, forecasts and business plans, providing support
- BUSINESS SUPPORT - Being involved with ad hoc activities within Finance or outside, that are key to the progress of the business
- PRODUCT ACCOUNTING - Provide support for production accounting & product cost estimation
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - To seek and implement continuous improvement including standard templates and reporting formats to collect, consolidate and present business information
- AUDIT - Support in the audit readiness programme of internal audit
- COMPLIANCE - To ensure that the Health, Safety and Environmental policy is observed. To be fully compliant with cGMP. Establish & maintain appropriate processes/systems

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Qualified/ACMA/ACA/ACCA
- experience in a manufacturing industry
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, pivot tables, Powerpoint)
- Process Management
- Technical Learning
- TQM/Re Engineering
- Change Management
