Management Accountant

Our client is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for their key division based in Birmingham. This particular division is seen as critical to the company's short to medium term growth strategy and plans are in progress to develop the existing function to enable them to deliver a first class service to the business.

There is therefore a requirement to recruit additional resource to support the existing team through the transition. Initially this will be for a fixed term contract of six months however there is a strong potential that this could be extended or develop into other opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Production of monthly management accounts
Cash management, including cash flow forecasting.
Variance analysis and commentary
Production of accurate plans and forecasts
Provision of financial insight analysis to help improve performance

Qualifications & Experience

Ideally fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
