MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WEST GREENWICH, RI.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Electrician ARI F&E Utilities Operations and Maintenance Job Summary Reporting to the C or D (12 hour night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am) Shift Manager Maintenance of the F&E Utilities Operations and Maintenance group, this position is responsible for supporting electrical systems operations and maintenance activities across ARI site.
- Perform electrical systems' operations and maintenance following applicable standard operating procedures
- Support execution of electrical distribution systems and equipment maintenance activities
- Support electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment electrical components and system failures.
- Support operation of the Fire Alarm systems including operating the system, disabling points and performing troubleshooting activities
- Support electrical contractors' maintenance and small project electrical activities including implementation of Lockout Tag out procedures, Energize Electrical Work and others
- Support implementation of improvements, using lean transformation maintenance tools and assisting in implementing changes.
- Operate backup power/emergency power generation systems following applicable Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensuring work is completed in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Ensuring that work order documentation is completed accurately in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Technical degree in electricity with five (5) or more years of experience in industrial equipment and systems
- RI Electrical License
- Knowledge and experience working in a GMP regulated function.
- Proven equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated ability executing work orders in the Maximo computerized maintenance management system.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, P&ID's and equipment schematics and wiring diagrams.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with equipment controls systems and PLC's
- Experience working in GMP environments and related requirements
- Ability to perform mechanical jobs.
- Ability to use problem solving tools and lean transformation concepts
- Ability to work with minimum direction.
- Ability to effectively communicate issues and status of tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to interact constructively with peers/teams.
- Ability to develop and execute Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ten or more (10+) years of combined education and experience in industrial facilities as electrician and/or supporting electrical systems and equipment operations and maintenance.
- Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience on electrical distribution systems and their components
