Our client, a world-class supplier of food products has a permanent position open for an experienced plant maintenance mechanic.

The sole purpose of the position is to quickly repair day-to-day breakdowns of equipment in order to minimize downtime. Therefore, you must be flexible to shift and willing to work as needed days/nights/weekends.

You should be experienced using hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in addition to experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery.

This should include at least 1 year experience with at least some of the following:
Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer controlled equipment, PLC and HVAC.

Starting pay is $16-$18/hr depending on skill level and experience.
