Location: Newton Aycliffe

Salary: £16.67 per hour

3 Shift System - 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am.

6 Month Contract

The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in innovative global technology solutions as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. The company is committed to developing practical technology solutions to improve global healthcare. Our client is a mechanical bias maintenance engineer to join there team on a 6 month contract.

The role: As maintenance engineer you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance checks on a range of pneumatic and hydraulic tools and other manufacturing machinery within a FMCG environment. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will liaise closely with Quality and engineering departments to ensure that there is minimal destruction to production activities, when dealing with planned maintenance and breakdowns.

The Candidate: An experienced mechanical maintenance engineer, you should have experience of servicing and maintaining a range of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Educated to apprentice level or equivelent in a relevant engineering and maintenance discipline, you will be able to effectively diagnose equipment problems and repair these problems as required.
