Maintenance Electrician

We are looking for a MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN for a 2 months contract position in Nashville, TN.

SKILLS:

- Applicant must be capable of installing or repairing electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other transmission equipment and working from blueprints.
- Must have working knowledge of solid state components and DC drive systems, drawings,layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical systems or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment and using a variety of electrician's hand tool and measuring and testing instruments.
- Must be able to use a computer to load, write or change a controller program.
- Requires skill acquired through formal apprenticeship or equivlent certified training and experience.
- Must be capable of minor and major repairs to mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all production machines.

Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. - Physical requirements: constant standing, use of hands, fingers wrists. frequent walking, bending, lifting over 65 pounds.
- Repetitive kneeling, stooping, balancing. must have clear understanding of English, written and verbal communication skills.
