Mainframe (PL/1) Developer, Dublin

Vantage Resources are seeking an Experienced Mainframe Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in Dublin for one of our large indigenous clients (immediate start).

Ideally you will have 5 years experience with PL/1 development. Experience working within the Financial Sector a plus. Your role will involve supporting the execution of Systems and User Acceptance Testing. Implementing solutions to the live environment. Translation of Functional specifications into Technical Specifications.

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE DESIRABLE:
Excellent Knowledge of PL/1
Experience in DB2
Experience in IMS
Excellent Analytical Skills
Have proven Documentation Skills
Have a proven track record of on time delivery
Expertise in a Software Development Lifecycle
Strong Team Player and Excellent Communication Skills
