One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Mainframe Functional/Technical Analyst.

Mainframe Functional/Technical Analyst

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Professionals within the Mainframe specialty focus on the use of methodologies and techniques as well as tools and technologies.

Responsibilities include the following

Several years of experience in

- Design, code and test software
- Apply existing standards for programming, naming, security & performance and provide proper code documentation
- Implement changes to custom build to meet business process requirements
- Document and assist in defining the functional and technical requirements of the application
- Create, execute and document tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements
- Maintain and repair applications to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specifications
- Implement and or supervise actions required to deploy the application both technically and functionally
- Participate to the training and coaching of junior Mainframe resources
- Be able to engage in conversation with clients to represent our assets and capabilities
- Desire to work in an information systems environment and continue developing a career in Mainframe

QUALIFICATION:

- Strong experience in a Mainframe environment with proven methodological expertise (Waterfall/Agile)
- Experience in design, programming and Mainframe development (Cobol, CICS/DB2, PL/1, TSO, MVS, JCL)
- Ability to coach junior resources or supervise small team when required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch or French
- Financial Industry knowledge preferred.
