Mainframe Developers (C5)

  Finite Canberra has a Government client seeking Mainframe Developers.

This is a contract opportunity starting ASAP until 30 June 2014.

For this Role you must be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN or PERMANENT RESIDENT.

APPLICANTS MUST DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience in design, systems analysis, construction and testing of software solutions in ADABAS/Natural Mainframe platforms;
- Demonstrated experience in NATURAL Programming including both in Online and Batch environments;
- Experience with ADABAS Database and PREDICT;
- Experience with Mainframe batch environment and sequential datasets;
- Demonstrated ability to deal professionally, tactfully and effectively with various stakeholders (both internally and externally) at all organisational levels; and
- Experience in developing technical specifications in the relevant technologies.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- ETL development using Informatica products
- SQL and other standard database query tools
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle.
