Lync SME/Exchange Specialist - Investment Banking

Lync SME (Messaging System Administrator) required by large Investment Bank, based in London to work within the bank's Messaging Team to support the infrastructure environment.

You will ideally have a few years experience supporting Lync 2010 in an enterprise environment, ideally within an Investment Bank or large financial institution.
Experience of deploying and operating enterprise scale Lync platforms.
Knowledge and experience of integration with voice systems - eg Avaya ACME packets.
Knowledge of Lync and voice/call routing.
Demonstrate experience with Exchange Unified Messaging.
Experience of Lync monitoring tools and Synthetic Transactions.
Experience in troubleshooting complex Lync environments.
Deep understanding of underlying Lync components such as: Routing Groups, Windows Fabric, SQL mirroring, Pool Pairing and Backup Service

*Mainly looking for Lync 2013 and Lync survivable branch appliance experience as well as support for Lync with Advanced Voice capability*

Within this role you will be working in a team supporting 13,000 Lync users and 15,000 mailboxes in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). This is a Level 2 operations role and entails maintaining platform stability, product upgrades, platform life cycle management, new platform deployments and migration, incident, problem and change management.
