LTE Radio Design Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Engineering or other relevant Technical Degree

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The LTE Radio Design Engineer will be responsible for design of Customers 4G LTE Network within a specified region

-       Radio Design of the LTE Solution at numerous site locations, including the RBS and antenna system solution
-       Use of Radio Planning Tool (ATOLL or ASSET)
-       Neighbour Planning for new sites
-       Creation of Datafill for new sites, including initial parameter settings.
-       Integration of the new technology with existing 2G and 3G networks
-       Analysis of drive tests
-       Mentoring of Junior Engineers through knowledge transfer

SKILLS REQUIRED

-       LTE Radio Network Design - specifically with Ericsson equipment
-       Knowledge of LTE RAN Equipment
-       Knowledge of combining/swap-out of existing 3G and 2G antenna systems on site
-       Experience working in Network Rollouts, with demanding customer targets and deadlines
-       Expert in Data manipulation
-       In depth understanding of 2G,3G and LTE air interface standards
