LSA/ILS Engineer

ILS/LSA ENGINEER - WITH STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF ARMOURED COMBAT VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING POLICY.

A ILS/LSA Engineer with strong knowledge of Armoured combat vehicle maintenance and servicing policy is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Shropshire.

This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.

OVERVIEW OF THE ILS/LSA ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

An experienced ILS/LSA Engineer is required to work on a six month contract based in Telford working with Armoured combat vehicle maintenance policy for a leading UK defence business.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ILS/LSA ENGINEER

- Must have Armoured combat vehicle maintenance experience at level 2 and understand level 3 and level 4 maintenance.
- Must familiar with the breakdown of Armoured combat vehicle, Line Replaceable Units LRU`s.
- T2 experience would be desirable, Should have basic understanding of Armoured combat vehicle Special To Role hydraulics.
- Must be fully conversant with Army Equipment Support Publications (AESP`s) and their structure.
- Must be familiar with the Army support systems, Stores System 3 (SS3).
- Must be able to work with Microsoft Office package.

The role is based in Telford commutable from Shrewsbury,Wolverhampton,Stafford and Bridgenorth.
