Job Description:
The Device Technology team is responsible for the strategy of next generation capabilities and in turn documents the requirements and test plans needed to introduce this functionality the device. DT is seeking a technical project manager to track activities and coordinate efforts related to 3GPP evolution such as Advanced LTE or Voice Over LTE device implementation. The individual reports to a Manager and interfaces extensively with many functions within the business to perform the role. Candidate must be able to communication effectively and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Track 3GPP/LTE implementation as it relates to device requirements, device development, network compatibility, test plan readiness in  3rd party labs, IOT lab readiness, trial/FOA and device compliance/acceptance. Coordinate efforts to accomplish the above by interfacing with cross-functional, inter-departmental teams and with multiple vendors.

Contribute to the development and evolution of testing methodologies - execution, verification/validation, reporting (eg automation, centralized issue management);
o Support the investigation, troubleshooting and resolution of handset/terminal issues;
o Develop Acceptance Test plans for test equipments and certification criteria for test equipments.
o Setup the lab test equipment according with new specifications, including the development of new test scripts

Qualification:
University degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Telecommunications required.
Primary skills requirements:
o Minimum four years experience with managing projects. PMP a plus.
o Minimum four years combined experience in wireless communication technologies including LTE, UMTS, GSM, CDMA. Two years experience in wireless device operation and testing, either in the field or lab environments. Two years experience writing technical documentation, preferably test plans/requirements/specifications.
Experience with handset manufacturers, network equipment vendors, and/or chipset vendors.
Experience with test equipment vendors, lab platform integration, protocol analyzer, system simulators and network emulators a plus.
Must have minimum 3 years experience with Microsoft office suite skills.
Excellent multitasking skills for participating in concurrent projects in a cross-functional team environment. Desire to learn and work in a continuously fast-changing environment. Well-organized and detailed-oriented person; Self-motivated, challenge-driven individual

Develops and implements network operations procedures; maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art network technology, equipment and systems; under general supervision, plans, directs and controls the activities of network operations; prepares activity, progress and service level agreement performance report; Ability to develop and manage project schedules, identify risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, define problem solving and risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution; Serve as a technical and team leader and consultant for product development projects that involve multiple disciplines; Manage all facets of technical projects to ensure deliverables are met within schedule, budget, and quality goals; Estimate fees, determine scope of work, prepare proposals and contracts on project; Facilitate collaboration with and between Development and Engineering, Production, Marketing, QA and Sales; BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING; 6 OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PLUS PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER REGISTRATION OR 6 YEARS AS TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT/SOFTWARE ENGINEER; Requires strong; Requires system knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SOTS, BMP, TIRKS and RMIN; Solid understanding of DHCP principles and ability to interface with server management groups supporting IP management is a must; Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures; Leads and directs the work of others
